Original data
AI visibility tools for B2B SaaS, by what the engines recommend.
· Measured 1 to 25 September 2026
We asked five AI engines three questions a SaaS company asks before buying: the cheapest way to monitor which AI models recommend a SaaS product, how to choose between AI visibility platforms for a B2B SaaS company, and which tools give the best return for a mid-market B2B company. Otterly.AI was named in 39 of 57 answers, Peec AI in 31.
One result shows how a small vendor gets onto that list. GrackerAI, whose site says it is built for B2B SaaS, was named 20 times on these questions and on no others. In 100% of the answers that named it, the engine had read gracker.ai.
Key takeaways
- Otterly.AI, Peec AI and Profound were named in 68%, 54% and 49% of SaaS answers.
- GrackerAI was named 20 times here, with its own site read in 100% of those answers.
- 6 vendors name B2B or SaaS teams on their own sites, and 11 name a Google Analytics connection for tying AI visits to sign-ups.

What a SaaS company needs from one
Comparison questions, tracked as questions. A software buyer asks an assistant to compare: the best tool for a job, one product against another, alternatives to the leader. The answer picks a winner. A tool has to let you track those exact questions and show who was picked instead.
The competitor, and what the engine read about them. Knowing a rival was named is half of it; the page the engine read is the half you can act on. Sight says it finds the questions where competitors are named and you are not; Siftly says it shows the exact pages the engines cite in place of yours.
A line to sign-ups. AI answers that link to you send visits your analytics can see. Semrush, Profound, AthenaHQ, Rankscale, Writesonic, Goodie, Ayzeo, Ranketta, Trakkr, Frase and Dageno name a Google Analytics connection among their integrations.
Something that closes the gap. Tracking says where you are missing; a page that answers the comparison is what gets you in. AthenaHQ, GrackerAI, Goodie, Sight, Evertune, Wellows and Cognizo describe writing or drafting that content as part of the product.

How we measured this
These are buyer questions we track for our own product, Greater Than Services, in our own workspace. Each run puts every question to five engines, asking as a buyer in the United States. It ran four times, on 1, 2, 10 and 25 September 2026. This page uses three of the questions, which drew 57 answers:
- “Cheapest way to monitor which AI models recommend my SaaS product?”
- “How do I choose between different AI visibility platforms for my B2B SaaS company?”
- “Which AI visibility tools offer the best ROI for mid-market B2B companies?”
- ChatGPT: OpenAI's GPT-4o with web search, through the API
- Claude: Claude Haiku 4.5 with web search, through the API
- Gemini: Gemini 2.5 Flash grounded in Google Search, through the API
- Perplexity: Sonar, which always searches the web
- Google AI Overviews: read from Google's own results page
Named means the tool appears in the answer's own words. The engines write their sources into the text as links, and a link to a vendor's blog is a source, not a recommendation, so links are removed before names are matched. Own site read means the tool's website was among the sources the engine cited for that answer. A tool named in the question itself is not counted for that question, because every answer repeats it.
Across all 20 questions, Google showed an AI Overview for 71 of the 80 searches, so the other 9 are not counted as answers. Answers move from week to week: asked the same question on the same engine at the next run, the engines named 54% of the same tools again.
The full method, the questions we left out, and the data as a CSV are on the main ranking.
Questions people ask
Which AI visibility tool do AI engines recommend for B2B SaaS?
Otterly.AI was named most, in 39 of 57 answers, then Peec AI (31) and Profound (28). GrackerAI, which its own site says is built for B2B SaaS, was named 20 times here.
Which AI visibility tools are built for B2B SaaS?
By their own sites, GrackerAI, Dageno, Sight, Siftly, Ayzeo and Evertune name B2B or SaaS companies among the teams they are built for.
How do I connect AI visibility to sign-ups?
Answers that link to your site send visits you can see in your analytics as referrals. Several trackers connect to it directly: Semrush, Profound, AthenaHQ, Rankscale, Writesonic, Goodie, Ayzeo, Ranketta, Trakkr, Frase and Dageno name Google Analytics or GA4 among their integrations.
Which questions should a SaaS company track?
The ones a buyer types before a demo: the best tool for the job you do, your product against each named competitor, alternatives to the category leader, and the problem you solve in the buyer's own words. Branded questions tell you what the engines know about you; these tell you whether you get picked.
