Asked for alternatives to tracking AI answers by hand, and which tools agencies recommend to their clients, five AI engines most often named Peec AI, Semrush and Profound. That is 19, 18 and 17 of 37 answers.
What an agency needs is not what a brand needs: one workspace per client, reports in the agency's own name, clients who can look without another login. Below, each of those comes from the vendor's own site.

What to check before you commit clients to one
A workspace per client, kept apart. Client data should not mix, and your team's access should follow the client. Peec AI treats each client as its own project; Trakkr groups brands by client and scopes access down to the brand; GrackerAI and Cognizo describe client-level and role-based access.
Reports in your name. By their own sites, Peec AI, Trakkr, SE Ranking, Writesonic, Ayzeo, Cognizo, GrackerAI, Goodie, Wellows and Dageno offer white-label or branded client reporting. The depth differs: Trakkr describes a custom domain, logo and email; others describe branded PDFs or dashboards.
Clients who can look without another login. Peec AI and Rankability describe client views that open from a link. For a client who will never log in to a tool, that is the report.
A way to get the data out. If your client reports live in Looker Studio, Otterly.AI, Peec AI, SE Ranking, Writesonic, Surfer, Ranketta, Trakkr and KIME name a Looker Studio or Data Studio connection; SE Ranking also names AgencyAnalytics and Whatagraph.
The tool the engines keep for agencies
Most tools are named across every kind of question. Trakkr is the exception: 9 of its 14 mentions came from the two agency questions, 64% of the total. The card below is what its own site says about agencies.

Where we fit
Greater Than Services was named in none of these 37 answers. Our Agency plan covers 10 client brands with 25 seats, white-label reports, an API and an MCP server; Growth covers 3 brands with 10 seats. How we measured this
These are buyer questions we track for our own product, Greater Than Services, in our own workspace. Each run puts every question to five engines, asking as a buyer in the United States. It ran four times, on 1, 2, 10 and 25 September 2026. This page uses two of the questions, which drew 37 answers:
- “Alternatives to manual AI assistant tracking for marketing agencies?”
- “What AI recommendation monitoring tools do agencies recommend to their B2B manufacturing clients?”
- ChatGPT: OpenAI's GPT-4o with web search, through the API
- Claude: Claude Haiku 4.5 with web search, through the API
- Gemini: Gemini 2.5 Flash grounded in Google Search, through the API
- Perplexity: Sonar, which always searches the web
- Google AI Overviews: read from Google's own results page
Named means the tool appears in the answer's own words. The engines write their sources into the text as links, and a link to a vendor's blog is a source, not a recommendation, so links are removed before names are matched. Own site read means the tool's website was among the sources the engine cited for that answer. A tool named in the question itself is not counted for that question, because every answer repeats it.
Across all 20 questions, Google showed an AI Overview for 71 of the 80 searches, so the other 9 are not counted as answers. Answers move from week to week: asked the same question on the same engine at the next run, the engines named 54% of the same tools again.

How should an agency report AI visibility to a client?
The same questions every week, engine by engine, with what each answer named instead of the client and which sources it read. A single check changes between runs, so the week-on-week line is the thing a client can act on.
